Shady Oaks was built in 1974 on the west side
of I35 in Georgetown, and has 60 duplex apartments. The
apartments are a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom units
and are home to elderly residents, disabled residents, and
families. Currently, we maintain a 99% occupancy rate and our
waiting list is approximately twelve (12) months long.
The apartments received brand new interiors,
including new kitchens, bathrooms and floors. A new front and
back porch was built for every apartment, new sidewalks were
poured, and every unit was repainted a new color.
We are currently accepting applications for the waiting
list. Rents are based on your income and are approximately 30%
of your gross monthly income. All applicants must meet eligibility
criteria. If interested in applying, please contact the manager at
512-863-2522 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday
through Friday from the 11th of every month until the end
of every month.
