To apply for Public Housing you must do the following:

1.  Print out and fill out completely the forms below.  Do not leave pertinent information out.

2.  Mail your application form to:  GHA, PO Box 60, Georgetown, Texas 78626
     (Make sure to sign and date your form), or fax to: (512) 869-3475

      MUST include a copy of:

  • driver's license (or picture ID, head of household ONLY), and
  • a copy of your social security card

If you DO NOT include these documents with your application, your application will be returned and you will not be placed on the waiting list for housing.

To renew a Current Application every three months, you must do the following:

1.  Print out the Application Renewal Form and fill it out completely.

2.  Mail in your form to:  GHA, PO Box 60, Georgetown, Texas 78626
     (Make sure to sign and date your  form) or fax to: (512) 869-3475
 

Renewal forms must be received every three months from the date of the application.  If a renewal form is not received, you will be deleted from the waiting list.

To update the information on your application any time your address, phone number, income, or family composition changes:

1.  Print out the Update Form and fill out completely

2.  Mail in your forms to:  GHA, PO Box 60, Georgetown, Texas 78626
     (Make sure to sign and date your  form) or fax to: (512) 869-3475


To check on your status on the waiting list you can:

1.  Check our website for the latest update on the waiting.

2.  Request it in writing by mail, GHA, PO Box 60, Georgetown, Texas 78626, or fax to:
    (512) 869-3475

We will NOT provide this information to you over the telephone.
